i completely forgot about this blog and if you havent already noticed, about this website.
im going to redo all of it, ive just been way too busy with school/life right now.

so basically, new york is amazing. i love parsons. lang is okay, though philosophy is starting to rub me the wrong way.
everything is different.

ill keep you posted on a new website. or, at least a new look for this one.

i keep losing the password to this thing, so forgive me for the lack of updates. im getting it together. slowly, but surely.

things have been crazy, and ive been tired and not taking nearly enough photos. theres hope, though. im finally feeling inspired enough to get off my ass and start lugging my camera around with me everywhere i go. i havent had much energy for anything lately...but my point here is that i expect to be adding lots more pictures soon - and if my job ever decides to pay me, hopefully a domain is in order.

for now, i added a "phone" section, where ill be adding pictures i take with my camera phone...just because theres really no other reason to HAVE a camera phone. my boyfriend and i talked about starting a journal where we go back and forth via camera phone pictures for each other (& everyone) to see, which might be sort of fun, considering we're on opposite ends of the coast. so maybe we'll do that, too?

there are two new pictures in the "places" section. and one new picture in the "people" section. nothing too spectacular.

alright. so i finally got unlazy and put some stuff in the "about me" section.
i should be adding new pictures & getting a domain relatively soon
but im mostly being lazy these days and trying to enjoy my summer :)

aside from that, i'm going to spend some time on the bio section at some point today. maybe.

other than that, not much else is new. san diego next weekend which will be nice.

i need a life break.

time is going by so fast, i cant believe it's been nearly a month since ive touched this thing!

i've been back in LA for nearly two weeks now, after an unexpected (but awesome) 2 week stay in boston. i'd been wracking my brain trying to choose between mass art and the museum school for the past month, and once i made a decision (mass art), i got my acceptance letter to parsons college of design/eugene lang in NYC! this news is ridiculously exciting for me because
a) parsons was my first choice
b) i didnt expect to get accepted AT ALL
c) i'll get to accomplish my double major at eugene lang afterall.

i know its going to be a lot of work, a lot of money, and a lot of stress, but hopefully this is the right decision for me. im terrified, but perhaps a little growing up is necessary....and what better place is there to grow up than greenwich village, right? haha we'll find out soon enough, i guess :S (!)

as far as the website goes, i added two pictures to the "people" section - one of a little boy i photographed this past weekend and another of my dog bandit (who isnt quite a person, but isnt quite a "thing" either)...just to make it a little more exciting. i also added a link to my friend Mr.B (michael)'s blog, who is running around the US with the americorps, wrecking havoc in computer labs and making time machines.

im planning on pulling out my polaroid again & using the oktomat (<3) lots this month, since i'll be taking at least two baby-roadtrips (arizona with the fam & san fran/san diego with some friends, maybe) sometime in the near future. my "about me" section is the only non-existant part of this site, but ill work on it soon enough.

anyway, thats all for now :)

i think everything that CAN be updated has been so far. any small additions/adjustments i make will be posted here in the future (in case anyone cares to know what's changed).

i'm leaving for boston tomorrow, so i probably won't make any changes or updates until i get back. i have so much to do today, and not enough time to do any of it! work takes up a huge chunk of my day..and i still have tons of laundry/packing/running around to do before tomorrow morning. stress stress stress.

first off, i'd like to say happy birthday to miranda! (who doesnt know this site exists yet, but will someday!)....& also, good luck to my matt, who has a recital later on tonight :)

im excited to finally start posting things up in a (somewhat) organized manner...this will totally make my long, tortureous days at work go by faster. i'll be purchasing a domain sometime in the near future, but until then, the geocities thing will have to do - sorry about the annoying pop-up ads, guys! bear with me. ill get it together eventually, i promise.

this week is looking to be a pretty hectic one so far. im getting ready to go to boston (again) for my SMFA orientation and to visit the boyfriend. excitement! my mom is coming with me this time, which will be fun, since she and i never get to leave the city together, ever...and because she's never been to boston. she seems excited, even though i know she's sad and nervous about my leaving. hopefully visiting will make her feel a little better. i still cant believe i actually got accepted somewhere! i know everyone's tired of me saying that, but i swear, i didnt think id get further than portfolio day with all of this!

annnnnnnnnnnnyway. the point of this ramble was to point out the obvious: the site is still under construction & will hopefully be done within the next couple of weeks. thanks for visiting :)
